The photographs show buildings in Shawsheen Village designed by architects Willard G Adden and Winthrop D Parker of Boston.

Other architects involved in the design of commercial buildings and homes in the village included  James E Allen of Lawrence, Clifford Allbright of Boston and the architectural firm of Ripley and LeBoutillier of Boston.
