West Andover Center Historic District Walking Tour

West Andover Center Historic District

On this tour of the colonial highway connecting Andover to Tewksbury you will see 200 years of varied architectural home styles, the oldest standing house of worship and the oldest headstone. We will hear about the inception of the West Parish Anti-Slavery Society of the 1830’s as well as the possible location of a stop or two on the Underground Railroad.

Duration: 1 1/2 hours
Terrain: Mostly sidewalk and grass, one hill
